Info:

Constance (Connie) Smith was born in Chicago, Illinois but grew up here in Utah. She graduated from Judge Memorial and attended the University of Utah where her major was Spanish and her minor was Japanese.

Connie worked for many years for the Institute for Resource Management, a Sundance Institute organization. When IRM was dissolved, she listened to her Dad, when he told her the best way to never worry about getting laid off was to go into her own business. He told her because she genuinely loved people and cared enough to work hard and do a good job, she should go into Real Estate. That was almost 16 years ago!

Connie and her husband, Alan, bought a one-owner, 1939 home in Sugarhouse’s Highland Park 5 years ago and have been having the time of their lives renovating it to its original charm. She and Alan feel very lucky to live in such a great city with wonderful neighbors and friends!

Connie has been volunteering for non-profit animal rescue groups for over 25 years to help end euthanasia of adoptable pets in Utah.  She lives, breathes, eats and sleeps two things – Animal Rescue and Real Estate!

In her spare time, Connie enjoys bicycling with her husband and her friends. She loves the “Little Red Riding Hood” Bike Ride and the “Salt Lake City Marathon Bike Ride”.  She and Alan also enjoy traveling and rarely miss their annual trip to Mexico.

There are 2 things Connie always tells her clients when she meets them – One is to not be afraid when she jumps out of the car to rescue a homeless dog on the road! And the other is that her goal is to be great friends with them when the transaction is over! That fulfilled goal is what keeps clients coming back to her and referring her!
