Kent J. Wallin, Associate Broker/Realtor, joined Miller & Company in 2005 as a Residential and Commercial specialist. He has been a principal real estate broker for 25 years, and has been actively involved in the real estate, securities and investment business for over 30 years.
Mr. Wallin is a former practicing CPA with Coopers & Lybrand in San Francisco. In addition, he has taught Managerial Finance and Business Law at the university level, and was a former Director of Client Communications for a large regional real estate syndicator with responsibility for 130 partnerships.
Mr. Wallin has negotiated and/or drafted numerous commercial leases (more than 50) in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Guatemala. He has also assisted in the purchase or sale of numerous office buildings, condominiums, apartment buildings, raw land and retail stores.
Mr. Wallin's educational background includes a BA in accounting, an MBA in business management and a JD in law from the University of Utah.
Mr. Wallin is married with five children and 14 grandchildren. His hobbies include gardening, water skiing, reading and travel. He and his wife Kristine, have toured most of the world including Europe and the Far East (China, Thailand, Cambodia and Bali). Mr. Wallin resides with his wife in Sandy, Utah.
